Jill began her career in 2000 at the previous MacKenzie’s Bakery in Kalamazoo, starting at the retail counter, where she learned early on that great service is as important as great baking. A natural leader and problem solver, she has grown with the business over more than two decades, stepping into her role as General Manager and leading the Vicksburg team with both experience and care.
Throughout her career, Jill has helped build a loyal community of customers—welcoming generations of families who return for the consistency, tradition, and sense of connection that define Mackenzies. For many in southwest Michigan, the bakery has become part of life’s celebrations, and Jill has played a central role in carrying that tradition forward.
She remains deeply focused on the customer experience, creating an environment where people feel known and welcomed. At the same time, Jill brings a creative energy to her work, leading product development and exploring new ideas in the kitchen—continuing to evolve the offerings while staying true to what has made Mackenzies a staple for decades.
