Joe received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accounting and Finance from Western Michigan University and earned his CPA in the State of Michigan while working at Ernst & Young.
He spent 35 years in finance with leading companies including Eaton Corporation, Ronningen-Petter, and Stryker Corporation. During his 18 years at Stryker, he served as Vice President of Finance for the Medical Division for nearly 14 years, helping guide record growth through process improvements, cost management, and more than 10 acquisitions.
After a long career building and strengthening complex organizations, Joe retired from the corporate world in 2021. He joined The Mill Group as Chief Financial Officer in 2022, bringing steady leadership, deep experience, and a practical approach to the work of restoring something meant to last.
