Rebecca Luong

Vice President of Design & Development

Rebecca brings over two decades of experience in planning, architecture, and interior design, creating experience-focused destinations with hospitality giants like WATG, The Gettys Group, and Gensler. Her work spans luxury hotels, multi-family developments, and large-scale residential communities across the U.S., the Middle East, and Asia—from a 61-room LEED Platinum hotel in Napa, California, to a multi-hectare development of seven man-made islands off the coast of Dubai.

She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Ball State University and a Master’s in International Development from the University of Washington. Much of her work emphasizes the integration of site, architecture, landscape, and interior design into a cohesive, memorable experience.

At The Mill Group, Rebecca leads the complex adaptive reuse of The Mill, shaping every facet of the project—from the boutique hotel and event spaces to museums and taprooms—into a guest experience that reflects the site’s history and creative spirit. She is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) and a member of the Network of Executive Women in Hospitality (NEWH), having served on the NEWH Northwest Board in Seattle. A native of Vicksburg, Rebecca has long valued the vision for the Village’s future, rooted in its rich past.
